Update 1/18/08

Dear Friends,

Tate is settled in at the hospital and doing well although he is very lonely. He would love phone calls on his new cell phone. His phone number is (707) 494-5747. Remember though, he is on alot of medication and isn't 100% coherent! I just talked with him, and he said his chicken pox were going away and they might let him out tomorrow! Although this isn't true...I can't help but laugh at his continually optimistic spirit! He is currently on an I.V. anti-viral, antibiotics and medication for pain and itching. He is in isolation and isn't allowed visitors other than family, so pray that he would be content and continually depending on God for his comfort.
Thank you for lifting Tate up in prayer.

Love, Mae & Family.

Hi Tate,

I like your blog. We pray for you every day. The boys want to talk to you but my cell phone is being wierd.

Do you have any think to do in your room? My sister and I had chicken pox. My mom and I counted 200 chicken pox on her face!!! Now she has a chicken pox scar right in the middle of her forehead. We laugh about it. So don't scratch! :)

Hey Tate,

We are praying for you everyday!! May God remind You often of His love and care for you.

I was 14 when I got the chicken pox -- it was on a mission trip to an orphanage in Mexico. Since most of the orphans had not had chicken pox, I went into isolation too -- in a small pup tent! Hope your room is nicer than that tent!! :)

XOXOXO

Hey Tate! Hang in there! We are praying for you -- for healing, patience, peace and strength -- and hoping you'll be home in your own bed soon.
We'll keep reading the blog to see how you're doing, take care and get well soon!

Hey Tate!
All the boys in my car each said a prayer for you last night. You are one special guy!
Ty says he is ready to take you golfing again. He says, "No hole in ones before he gets one"-Smile.
See you soon!
